@slipchikin no traditional style was created BECAUSE of tilted snares. snares were traditionally played with a strap instead of a rig, so they were tilted and drummers adjusted their grip to what we call “traditional style” today.

Their both really great percussionist. I’m actually looking forward to performing something like this at my schools talent show with a fellow drummer of mine.

dude great video. i converted it to an mp3 and put it on my ipod my friend and I are trying to learn it. well not learn it note for note but were trying to make something like it me on tenor and him on snare. im not a tenor player I only play like orchestra shit like those percussion instruments. but we got five toms so ill try my best. Were trying to mimic the double beat 2004 tho
